A group of sixth formers from Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School in Ashbourne are getting fit for a marathon bike riding effort! The OnYourBike Team would have all been students alongside Isabella had she lived and wanted to do something in her memory. They are aiming to ride all the way from Ashbourne to London in April and are looking for sponsorship. Please help them! More information can be found on our Facebook page where you can also find a link to their page on BT donate. All monies raised will go towards a new Medical Centre at an orphanage we are helping in Sri Lanka.
Best of luck to two highly-motivated people who are running to raise money for the fund. As two people who couldn't run for more than 30 seconds at the beginning of 2016, Matt and Maria have decided to challenge themselves to their first 10k race in their quest to keep moving with the aim of raising some pennies for two charities close to their hearts - MS Society and The Isabella Peatfield Memorial Fund. The Kew Gardens 10k is undoubtedly the most beautiful race in Europe, with the six mile journey past the famous Palm House, Kew Palace, the great Pagoda and much more. Please do support them -

What a little star Sophie Duckmanton from Osmaston is! Little Sophie, just 7 years old, was so inspired by our big Fundraiser - The Event in the Tent - that she decided to do a sponsored run...... but not just any run - only the hardest one in the whole area!!!!
Sophie absolutely smashed the Dovedale Dash, coming runner-up in her age category and her marathon efforts raised £65 for the Fund.

Three Triathlon Challenge
In order to raise money for the Isabella Peatfield Memorial Fund, Louisa and Ian Duckmanton are taking part in three team triathlons in just three months. Having both grown up in the Peak District they felt embarking on this challenge would be a good way of raising money and awareness of the charity. They are being helped along the way by some incredible friends to make up the Pink and Blue Elephant teams in each triathlon. For most of the competitors, this is their first triathlon. Two teams are entered into the Ashbourne Triathlon in May where competitors swim 400m, bike 20Km and run 5Km. Louisa and Ian are being helped by their friends - Kerry & Matt Jones, Paul Laycock and Ria Symonds. In June there will be three teams entered into the Nantwich Triathlon (swim 500m, bike 20km and run 5km). Making up the teams are Kerry Jones, Alison & Dan Bowett, Jo & Paul Davies, Claire Strickland and Laura Brown. Finally one team will be entered into the Olympic distance team triathlon in Birmingham where the team will be attempting a 1500m open water swim, 40Km bike ride and a 10Km run. In this event, Leo Pickford has volunteered to join Louisa and Ian. Please help Louisa and Ian by sponsoring them and cheering them on at the events! All competitors will be wearing Pink or Blue Isabella Peatfield memorial Fund T shirts so look out for them!
